BELL & ROSS - Instrument BR 03-92 MILITARY CERAMIC

The new BR 03 Military Ceramic celebrates the art of military camouflage.

Press release

The new BR 03 Military Ceramic celebrates the art of military camouflage. It was designed as a tool for pilots to use in the cockpit of their fighter jets where remaining stealthy while maintaining combat readiness is a matter of life or death. Whether they are flying reconnaissance missions or combat flights, they are often in harm’s way. For these extreme pilots who spend most of their time traversing the skies, the reliability and discreetness of their onboard instrumentation is essential at all times.

With this in mind, the BR 03 Military Ceramic has been designed to meet these requirements by combining performance and concealment. Constructed entirely from an olive drab, camouflage ceramic, the watch’s military character and stealthy spirit make it seem as if we are the ones behind the controls – just like a real fighter pilot.

A professional instrument

The design of the BR 03 Military Ceramic is drawn from a plane’s cockpit clock, which must be very easy to read. The Swiss movement of this timepiece was designed for professionals and is based on being easy-to-read, functional, precise and waterproof. It is 42mm in diameter making it highly adaptable to all users.

The essence of military camouflage

The BR 03 Military Ceramic is a monochromatic, olive drab colored watch much like the camouflage color of military fatigues. The matte case, the dial contrasts with the luminescent hands and the tinted, anti-glare glass combine to make the watch extremely readable both day and night.

An unalterable ceramic case

Bell & Ross has pulled off a genuine technical feat with the BR Instrument case that is made entirely of ceramic. A precious material incorporating the technological advances of the 21st century, ceramic was chosen for its many qualities including:

-Unscratchable: Ceramic is one of the hardest materials in the world, after diamonds. It is renowned as being unalterable so its tinted color will stand the test of time.

-Light: Lighter than steel, it is also highly durable.

-Comfortable: hypoallergenic and comfortable to wear, it is soft to the touch and instantly adapts to your body heat.

A pleasure for connoisseurs

Bell & Ross is the first watchmaker to use an olive drab ceramic material in a watch. The strength of the BR 03 Military Ceramic does not, however, reside only in its uniqueness; it will win over all those in search of a thrill. Whether for its fighter pilot styling or simply for the pleasure of owning a precision timepiece, this new watch is sure to please.
