Gucci Supports FFAWN With Twirl Watch

FFAWN is the Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. Developed and funded by recording artist Mark J. Blige and marketing leader Steve Stoute, FFAWN works to inspire women to obtain their goals through scholarships, grants and programs that encourage self-confidence, career advancement and personal growth. Recently, Gucci and Mary J. Blige celebrated Gucci for FFAWN Day in New York City, hosting an exclusive in-store cocktail party at the Gucci New York 5th Avenue Flagship store. Guests included Alicia Keys, LeBron James, Donald Trump, and Estelle and Devon Aoki. Gucci donated 10% of the day’s sales from the store to FFAWN.

In honor of the event, Gucci introduced a limited edition black PVD Twirl watch created by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini. The special Gucci for FFAWN timepiece, priced at $1,859, is cast in a sleek black PVD bracelet adorned with the signature double-G motif and a monochrome dial. The rotating case features black diamonds. To ensure bang for the buck, the watch, which is engraved with the words “Gucci for FFAWN,” flips to allow the wearer the ability to alternate between a bracelet and timepiece. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each limited edition Twirl were donated to FFAWN.
