Gallery of Rolex Submariner 50th Anniversary Edition

Black Bezel

A fun modification was to install a black bezel on an anniversary edition, allowing me to travel incognito.

Front Shot

The Submariner anniversary edition features a green bezel and larger dial markers. This close-up also reveals a new practice by Rolex of laser etching the brand and a serial number on the chapter ring inside of the bezel. This watch does not have the crown logo etched on the crystal, however.

Inner Box

The lower portion of the outer box has a flip-down front panel to better reveal the well-crafted wooden presentation case. It is thick, solid wood, and even the wavy pattern on top is carved in wood.

Inside the Box

Ah, the joy of opening the box! Note the plush, cream-colored interior. Inside is a pillow-like environment with a soft, suede, textured upholstery. The small panel in the lid creates a pocket for storing the documents that come with your watch. The green hang tag indicates the make and model. The red tag indicates COSC certification.

Movement

Your ticket to an authentic Rolex. Once you see this movement, you can be sure it's real.

Outer Box

The outer box is a very light greenish color and sports the Rolex Crown logo. Although not shown here, this outer box was sheathed in a plain, white cardboard sleeve.

Side Shot

You will see hints of usage here. Fingerprints and dust appear quickly once the owner begins to wear it. No need to worry, however, the stainless steel case is very tough and is easy to clean.

Wrist Shot

The black bezel seems to add a different level of elegance and class.
