1884 • Sotiro Bulgari opened his first shop in ROME.
1905 • Moved to VIA CONDOTTI, still the head office address.
1940 • Giorgio and Constantino Bulgari created the first BULGARI watches.
1977 • Launch of the BULGARI BULGARI, a very sober wristwatch, with its absolutely unique distinctive characteristic – the name engraved in double on the lunette.
From the start of the 1980s, all BULGARI watches were produced by the Swiss subsidiary BULGARI TIME S.A.
1989 • A new firm, GPM S.A., founded for the joint venture with GIRARD-PERREGAUX.
1998 • GPM. S.A. dissolved
2000 • Acquisition of DANIEL ROTH and GERALD GENTA brands.
2003 • BULGARI is the number three world jeweller, after CARTIER and TIFFANY’S.
