In 2010, Bertolucci opens up the Distinction universe to men with new upscale timepieces, resolutely modern and profoundly masculine: FORZA.

Dedicated to the lovers of beautiful mechanics and charismatic designs, FORZA is exclusively equipped with automatic movements revealed by the sapphire back of a generously proportioned all black case. Connoisseurs will appreciate watch-making functions of the various calibres which beat at the rate of 28’800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of 38 or 42 hours. In an innovative construction celebrating the brand’s origins, the watch outlines a unique profile where lugs draw a profile of a wave under the large and comfortable “pebble” of the case. Unexpectedly, FORZA will become a precious object of design for men in search of a strong and contemporary instrument.

Designed in a sportive and distinctive style, the various versions of FORZA marry technique, strength and elegance. The model emerges by its profiled lines, its precise and integrated curves. It is offered in a range comprising three Swiss self-winding movements displaying different sets of functions on patterned opalin dials with applied indexes. According to their desire and their mood, men will opt for the chronograph with tachymeter scale, for the 3 hand watch with big date & power reserve indication, or for the 3 hand watch with day and date counters & power reserve indication. Mounted on a genuine rubber strap, the case alternates with a polished and fine-brushed finishing in an all black PVD execution, reinforcing the strong, stylish and functional look of FORZA.

The world of Distinction, the new line launched by Bertolucci in 2009, gives pride of place to elegance, pure lines and refinement. Creativity, innovative shapes and style are expressed in the Volta collection which owes its name to the Italian version of the famous “C’era une volta…” (once upon a time…).

This collection comprising four models is an invitation to discover the timeless secrets of a nation that has inspired the watch brand ever since its creation. Like a wave gracefully undulating on the surface of the blue waters of the Mediterranean, Volta plays with the shimmering reflections of sunlight and leaves in its wake the haunting memory of its sensual curves and heady fragrance. Fascinated by the soft beauty of the sunny beaches of the Italian Riviera, it sprinkles the opaline shore of the dial with a gentle splash of diamonds. Nestling at the heart of a generously sized (42mm) steel or gold case featuring a contemporary design, its precious black or white dial combining opaline and mother-of-pearl is harmoniously set with 100 diamonds. This sensual asymmetrical motif also adorns a jewellery version entirely paved with 92 diamonds and 140 pink sapphires.

 Volta watch

Water-resistant to 30 metres and featuring two time zones displaying the hours and minutes, the Volta collection will appeal to adventurous women who proclaim their femininity anywhere in the world. The two calibres enable a simultaneous dual time-zone display on two separate counters. When evening comes, the generous dials set with two waves of diamonds at 2 and 8 o’clock will sparkle brightly on the wrists of sophisticated women as they dance the night away.

Imbued with a purer, more restrained style, the rounded curves of the Giro watch have been endowed with a typical Bertolucci touch of originality, combining simplicity and elegance for everyday luxury. Available with a broad range of movements and dials, including a version equipped with a movement skeletonised by a Swiss master-watchmaker, whose expert work is revealed through the exhibition back fited with a sapphire crystal, it is suited to all kinds of tastes. Its chic and classic design clothed in steel or rose gold frames precious dials enlivened by opaline and natural mother-ofpearl, decorative guilloché motifs and applied hour-markers. The self-winding models are fitted with an exhibition case-back with a sapphire crystal revealing the movement. The key innovative characteristic of the self-winding chronographs lies in the rotating disc on the 6 o’clock subdial which displays the hours being timed.
